You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period.

The Our Father:

Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name:
Thy kingdom come:
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread:
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation:
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.
You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period.

The Fatima Prayer:

O my Jesus,
forgive us our sins,
save us from the fires of hell,

lead all souls to Heaven,
especially those in most need of Your Mercy.

Hail Holy Queen:

Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy!
Our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.

Turn, then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us;
and after this our exile
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus;
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
You got a dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you that you can't do it. You want something? Go get it. Period.

St. Michael the Archangel:

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen..

How to Pray the Rosary

The Apostles' Creed:

I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth;
I believe in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord;

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
And born of the Virgin Mary,
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and buried.

He descended into the dead;
On the third day He rose again;
He ascended into heaven,
And is seated at the right hand of the Father;
Where he shall come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in:
the Holy Spirit,
the Holy Catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgivness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and in life everlasting.
Amen

Depending on the day or by custom, there are the mysteries, each of which form the clothing that wraps around the background of the rosary.

How to Pray the Rosary

Postby evolution8 » Tue Oct 02, 2007 2:29 am

Good job BK! :grin: You will be blessed a thousandfold for posting this, very timely as the Church dedicates the month of October to Our Blessed Mother and the Rosary. (Please see article related to this on the Religion board posted by Zip.com)

Anyway, here's how we do the Rosary in the Philippines:

1. Sign of the Cross
2. The Apostle's Creed
3. The Lord's Prayer
4. 3 Hail Mary's
5. Glory Be
6. Then we proceed to the mysteries of the Holy Rosary (NOTE: We say the Fatima Prayer after each mysteries)
7. Hail Holy Queen
8. Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all, because I have offended You, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen.

9. Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary
10. Final Prayers
O God, whose only begotten Son, by His life, death and resurrection, has purchased for us the reward of eternal salvation, grant we pray that meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Let us Pray,
Pour forth, we beseech You, O Lord, Your grace into our hearts. That we to whom the incarnation of Christ, Your Son, was made known by the message of an angel. May by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection, through the same Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

11. 3 Glory Be's
12. Sign of the Cross
:cross: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"  Philippians 4:13
