House rules (please read if you are new to our house)

FreeNorthAmerica is a conservative, on-line community, which freely welcomes all people, regardless of race, creed or country to participate in discussion, debate and networking through its unique medium.

We, the FNA community, extend to all members the hospitality of open, free discussion and interaction through its forums. We expect all members to extend courtesy and respect to all other members, always posting in good faith. Please try to be understanding, slow to take offense and quick with forgiveness in the desire to maintain a friendly atmosphere with open discussion. In a nutshell, all members are always expected to treat each other, as they themselves would expect to be treated.

By becoming a member of this site, you agree to follow the rules of this site. We do not wish to be onerus with rules and we will tolerate a wide latitude of speech, however, for the sake of good order and to provide a tolerable posting environment rules have to be made and enforced. These rules apply to all communications made on this site both private and public. These rules apply to all members of this site, including members of FNA admin. If you do not follow these rules, your posts may be edited or deleted. Continued rule breaking may result in a suspension or ban. The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. If you are younger than 13, your parent or guardian must provide written consent for you to become a member of this site.

1. RESPECT ONE ANOTHER.

Attack the argument or behavior not the person. Heated debate is fine and the admin and moderators realize some flaming is fun especially if both sides are dishing it out as good as they are taking it :P . However continually flaming, harassing, or insulting a member will result in a warning then banishment. If it appears a member is trolling and simply provoking dissension and anger rather than meaningful debate, we reserve the right to censor and ban such a member at our discretion.

The Admins and Moderators of this board are Christians and conservatives. We believe Non-Christians should have the right to question and criticize Christian beliefs and values. However there are limits. While disagreement with Christianity is allowed on our site, denigrating the sacred is not. If one uses our board to spitefully and frivolously mock our God, our Christ, His Mother or other sacred things we reserve the right to censor and ban such a member.

2. REASONABLE CONFIDENTIALITY

You are NOT allowed to reveal personal information or identity of our posters without their permission.

3. GRAPHIC IMAGES & OBSCENE CONTENT.

Sexually explicit images and vulgar talks which is considered pornographic or obscene is strictly forbidden. Such content will be immediately deleted. Such behaviour could result in an immediate and permanent ban. Disturbing images of abortion, medical diseases, death, etc.... can in certain circumstances be posted provided a warning is given on the thread and a rationale is provided as to why the image is necessary to make the point. The Admin at its discretion can remove disturbing images and limit a poster's right to post such images if it appears the images are being posted to simply to inflame or are starting to clutter the forum from being over used. Swearing is not allowed on our site. Please be respectful of this rule.

6. LEGAL ISSUES

You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FNA with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s). By participating in these forums, you grant us the right and license to use, reproduce and display any submissions to the forum without compensation to you or any one else.

7. COMPLAINTS

Complaints can be made to Moderators and Admins. Please do not complain because you simply disagree with a post or dislike someone. Remember this board tolerates a wide variety of views and if you try to silence someone simply because you dislike their posts, you might find yourself censored! Please report serious breaching of the rules as it is impossible for Admins to read every post and we want to keep our site safe and enjoyable for our members. Serious breaches of rules should be reported with a link or explanation of the problem.

8. USING MULTIPLE ID's

Upon logging onto our website we will identify and store your IP number. Please don`t create multiple accounts and identities to give the impression of there being more supporters of your views than what there is. It is dishonest and we will probably expose and limit such behaviour.

9. DISRUPTING THE BOARD

Continually criticizing the board, insulting mods and admin, challenging our house rules in open forum, etc...... will lead us to the conclusion you are not happy here and we will ban you and send you elsewhere. This board is a free service and not a right. The admin does not need the headache of dealing with perpetually disgruntled and angry posters.
Constructive criticism of the board and suggestions are tolerated and can be posted in the Friendly Place if your goal is to actually offer advice on making FNA an even better place to post.
