Muslim gives his life to Christ!

Forgive me for the delay in relating an exciting report, which came from our outreach in New York City. We became aware of it a couple of days ago, but Satan hindered us (1 Thessalonians 2:18). Our entire communication system has been under assault. Our phone lines, both home and cell, plus our internet service have been down, so even if we wanted to send it out, we were not able. We finally managed to salvage our communications and we are excited about passing on this powerful testimony.

Apparently, during our event a Muslim man was in our midst debating with brothers and sisters in Christ. Ante Pavkovicand his wife, Kathy, at times, addressed him. They asked him if he grew up in the church and what was the name given to him by his family. Reluctantly, he told them the truth. It must have been the beginning of the end for this Muslim man to admit his heritage that he abandoned for Islam.

After our event, a lot of the saints went across the street from where we were set up to get a bite to eat. He followed and many conversations ensued. Saints challenged him about the sadistic nature of the Koran. Other people not associated with our group reached out to him as well. One lady served overseas in our military and revealed to him the horrid conditions associated with Islamic rule.

One lady shared her testimony of how she was in one of the twin towers when the plane crashed into the building. Though her head was bloodied, she felt an unseen force guide her out of the debris. Three years later, she came to know the guiding hand and surrendered her life to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. At this, the man was visibly shaken and upset. He raised his voice in anger.

Shortly after, a young man named, Michael Sugar, who witness to him previously, addressed him once again. I talked with Michael to make sure I had the gist of what happened next. Michael asked him, "Do you consider me an infidel? He answered, "Yes." Michael then asked if the Koran called upon him to kill the infidel. Again, he answered in the affirmative. "Why then won't you kill me" asked Michael. He said, "Because there were police around." Michael at this point boldly told him, "According to the Koran, you fear man more than Allah. You are a hypocrite that Allah hates." Michael, like David before him, used the sword of the enemy (the Koran) to slay the enemy.

Mere moments later, the man walked over to Michael and told him, "You are a bold young man." Whereupon, he handed him his Muslim cap, and said, "I am no longer a Muslim." Before our folks left, they made sure he was connected to one of the Christian men who helped host our event. "Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men (Psalm 107:15)!"
