Op-Ed Columnist

A Mock Columnist, Amok

By MAUREEN DOWD

I was in my office, writing a column on the injustice of relative marginal tax rates for hedge fund managers, when I saw Stephen Colbert on TV.

He was sneering that Times columns make good “kindling.â€

oh come on! you cant find the New York Times on your own

http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/14/opini ... ref=slogin

Blair was fired as soon as he was discovered. Why you rightys fixate on that i will never know. I could bring up Jeff Gannon if you like.

It is a great paper with reporters all over the planet.

Colbert is hilarious.

Only to left-leaning idealogues, like yourself. The NYT has become about as honest as any other left leaning newspaper. That isn't saying much - btw.

The fact that Colbert can be funny, at times, lends nothing to the credibility of that rag.

Well I guess you don't want to be informed by all news sources because that would make you a well rounded person.

Here is a little experiment.

Go to http://www.nytimes.com/

.....and cut and paste one piece of left wing bias from todays edition. (editorial page does not count because that is where opinion is supposed to be found)

I realize this will be difficult for you to do because you will have to think for yourself. Instead of relying on others to tell you the NY Times is biased.

Can't wait for the results of your little experiment.

Good luck.

I don't need the NYT to be 'informed', tyvm.

I'll rely on papers that don't lie to me everyday, don't hate america and don't forcefeed me liberal propaganda.

I don't.

Mostly I read Townhall now, and whatever I get from my own personal list.
