Princess Jules:

You are warned.

By all means disagree with the poster, but don't insult them.

Did it ever occur to you, God is able to use natural phenomenon to execute His judgement on a hardened and unrepentant people?

I'm sure folks laughed at Noah until the rain poured and poured and poured......

Princess Jules:
What, is your buddy Rusty pals with Reverend Phelps? Will he be picketing soldiers funerals soon?

No I don't think Rev. Rusty Lee Thomas would picket soldier's funerals. He is a Godly and extremely decent man. I for one hold his opinion on California's rebellion against the Almighty and impending judgement in high regard......

Please explain how I insulted a poster. Bills friend Rusty seems to think along the same lines as Phelps. I find Phelps regpunant. If Bill's friend feels the same way, I would say the same of him. Bill did not seem to take offense to my post.

It's a warning.

We are pretty strict here about attacks on other posters, moreso then other sites are so I wanted to be clear so you don't end up stepping over the line. I do this for most everyone when they first come on.

Ben I do not understand what I am being warned about. IMO I did not attack Bill. Please show me where I attacked him. Please be clear so that there are no misunderstandings.

Bill, you are admin, do you feel attacked?

Princess Jules' statement definitely falls in the realm of free speech. She is a pro-homosexual non-Christian. If I fail to convince her Christianity is the truth, how can you expect her to take my analysis of the wild fire and God's judgement seriously???? :dontknow:

Anyways our board is to treat friend and foe equally. If we want our nation's judges to behave that way when they deal with conservatives they might personally disagree with, we socons should try to set the example. We are not to hammer folks we disagree with.

That was uncalled for and a smear to both Bill and his friend.

Nobody mentioned Rev Phelps here until you did.

I don't agree with Bill's statement that the fires in San Diego were divine punishment but you can do so without attacking Bill or his friend.

You could have said, I think they are completely wrong about this attack, but attacking his character is not permitted.

Well there is no doubt you attacked my idea. I assume you think my idea of the wild fires being linked to God's judgement is whacked. There is no personality cult here. You are free to call me whacked without fear of censorship. I think you are whacked for being pro-homosexual and I want to freedom to tell you that. So long as you don't degenerate into really vitriolic or hateful name calling you have the freedom to argue my ideas or any other poster's ideas for that matter are whacked.

That's fine bill.

I think accusing someone of wanting to go picket other people's funerals is a bit more then saying you think they are whacked.

That's the part that I object to.

That was uncalled for and a smear to both Bill and his friend.

Why was it uncalled for? How do I know that Bill or his friend do not agree with Phelps? I find some of the things Bill does to be quite extreme. It was a question that Bill answered, no harm no foul.

Nobody mentioned Rev Phelps here until you did.

So what? I am to be penalized because I drew a valid connection between the philosophies? Phelps is hateful, but I find some of the things Bill does to be hateful too. Bill is capable of stating his position on this.

I don't agree with Bill's statement that the fires in San Diego were divine punishment but you can do so without attacking Bill or his friend.

At no point did I say Bill you are a ______ or Bill your friend is a ______

I asked Bill a question because of the similarities. Phelps also thinks bad things that happen to people are because of homosexuality.

You could have said, I think they are completely wrong about this attack, but attacking his character is not permitted.

At no time did I attack Bill's character. I did however question the character of his friend for above mentioned reasons.

I think accusing someone of wanting to go picket other people's funerals is a bit more then saying you think they are whacked.

Ben, I did not even go so far as to call Bill or his friend whacked. Nor did I accuse anyone of anything. Would that not be attacking a poster?

Ben, I am not sure, but I sense there is something personal in your warning, as you have told me before you do not like me or my web site. This is disappointing because as much as I disagree with many of the things Bill does, I always feel confident that he would not censor me based on personal dislike or a clash of opinions. I also think that if I was not welcome here, Bill would not have put a link up on our site.

While I can appreciate you wanting to protect Bill, and your new site, Bill and I have a long history of debating, and we can both look after ourselves in that matter. As far as I am concerned I did not break any rules. If at anytime I do, I will gladly accept a valid warning.

Peace out Brother.

Ben and I already discussed this.
time to move on....
Lefties and righties are notorious for allowing personal feelings to censor debate
You Princess are not perfect in this regard and you censored me in times past.

I generally support Ben
Not this time
However he is generally an excellent mod and this site would be less without his service

You Princess are welcome here and your site is not censored here
Though I find it way too homosexual........... :disgust:

i heard today the Camp Pendelton is starting to burn

maybe he is upset at the 10's of thousands of god's Iraqi children that have been slaughtered by American bombs and bullets?

besides, those wealthy areas of San Diego and Orange county are heavily republican

Nope, I do this for everybody, just ask zip or banned from fd.

This is disappointing because as much as I disagree with many of the things Bill does, I always feel confident that he would not censor me based on personal dislike or a clash of opinions. I also think that if I was not welcome here, Bill would not have put a link up on our site.

You are very welcome here, your opinions will not be censored. As I said earlier, we do welcome opposing viewpoints and discussion so long as it stays civil.
